Wellness Shot

This time of year it is important to have a strong immune system because despite your greatest efforts, you will come in contact with people who are sick.  Wallace is also getting to the age where we are starting to play with more kids and little kids have little kid germs that come on really strong.  To stay healthy or when I do feel that sore throat coming on, I eat garlic and drink a wellness shot to kick anything that has entered my system.  This simple recipe has tons of benefits including antibiotic, alkalizing, anti-inflamatory, anti-fungal, antibacterial, antioxidant and also relieves sinus infections or colds. 


  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon turmeric
  • 5 drops oregano oil
  • squeeze of a half a lemon
  • 1/4 cup water


Mix all ingredients together and enjoy.


I recommend taking this shot anytime you start to feel sick or as a daily dose to keep your immune system strong.

*If you are nursing or pregnant, omit the oregano oil
